Shumei Yatesbury Open Day 2025

Come along to this fun event and discover Shumei Natural Agriculture. Learn how our vegetables are grown without chemicals, fertilisers and animal manures, enjoy the Japanese tea ceremony and the sound of Japanese drums. Please check the details and buy your tickets here.

Time schedule:

• 12.30pm – Registration / Self-guided tour around the vegetable field
• 1.15pm – Talk: “Let’s learn Natural Agriculture in depth” by farm supervisor, Shinya Imahashi
• 2.00pm – Free time: Sale of fresh produce from the garden / Self-guided tour of the vegetable field/ Japanese tea ceremony (Reservation needed due to limited)
• 3.45pm – Japanese Taiko Drum performance
• 4.15pm – Programme ends

Tickets:
– Registration: £10.00 (Not including Japanese tea and sweets at the tea ceremony)
– Registration + Tea ceremony: £17.00 (please choose one of the two time slots: 1st or 2nd session)
You can also reserve an assorted vegetable box for £10 (valued at £14).
